CREDENTIALS REQUIRED

MRG is always searching nationwide for qualified independent medical examiners. We request the following credentials and documents for confidential consideration as an MRG examiner:

• Copy of medical licensure.
• Copy of current professional liability (medical malpractice) insurance coverage, with explanations for any actions.
• Copy of board certification, diplomate status.
• Copy of certification of additional education or training for independent medical examiners.
• Copy and computer file of Curriculum Vitae.
• Copy and computer file of maps and/or directions to examining offices and sites.
• Copies of Practice Brochures and materials.
• Sample IME reports
• Fee schedules for independent medical exams and related activities (file reviews, etc.)

MRG provides a telephone transcription service for members of our physician panel. Benefits of the service include ease of use, prompt turnaround, report editing, and cost savings. Speak with your MRG representative for more details.

MRG reviews every IME report before it is forwarded to the requesting party. This quality assurance step is an essential part of our service to clients, also benefiting examiners. We make sure the report answers all exam questions clearly, concisely, and accurately. In resolving any uncertain items, MRG discusses them with the physician with clear quality objectives to ensure an independent opinion that clearly addresses exam issues.
