MRG handles all procedures and steps to
schedule disability and independent
medical exams. We provide IMEs for
workers compensation claims, disability
claims, disability retirement requests,
and medical necessity cases,
just to name a few.
In addition to the exams, MRG physicians
also conduct medical file reviews to
address questions or issues not requiring
a full exam. File reviews can address
issues such as medical necessity, need for
an IME, extended treatment, treatment
options and plans, and claim strategies.

 We recognize each client’s demand for excellent IME
reports. Our clients know they get reports that are
objective and that reflect an honest, impartial
evaluation. Reports are well written, concise, and
clear. The quality of our reports, and the exams,
is of the highest level. We ensure this reliability
by having each report reviewed to be sure the
exam questions are addressed clearly and the
examining physician’s narrative is straight-forward
and concise.
HOW WE PROCESS EXAMS
A key benefit clients expect from MRG is meeting deadlines for reports. Turnaround time is
important, but more crucial for claim managers is being able to know that a report will be
delivered on time, when it is promised. Part of our hard work is being sure you get your
reports on time, when you need them. Our physicians and staff operate on a standard
report turnaround of five to seven working days after the exam. Not only will you get your
reports when promised, we can usually get the report to you sooner. Clients don’t have to
request “rush” reports because they know the written reports will come when they need
them. Our tracking system monitors the workflow of each exam so we can report as
needed or answer questions on the current status of any exam you schedule.
MRG usually exceeds any standard requirements regarding exam appointment time limits,
whether imposed by government regulations or requested by the claim adjuster. Our
